Here at Estero Beach Hotel/Resort we have a variety of activities for our guests to participate in.
- La Bufadora (The Blow Hole) - Located just 20 minutes south of the resort, this location offers everything in entertainment. Enjoy this wonderful natural attraction which spouts seawater up to 70 feet into the air. Also in this area you can find a lovely Bazaar to meet all of your shopping needs as well as a multitude of Restaurants serving a variety cuisine for your dining pleasure.
- Scuba Diving - Escape from the routine and explore the pristine, natural beauty of Baja California in a secluded and untouched destination full of Magic and Mystery on a one of a kind ½ day adventure! Prices are: $115 USD for Certified Divers and $125 USD for the guided resort course. Trip includes all necessary equipment, two dives, transportation and lunch. All prices are per person and do not include tax.
- Guided Kayaking - Have the time of your life kayaking at La Bufadora! Prices are: $65 USD per person, not including tax. Trip includes instruction, all required gear, sit-on-top kayaks, transportation and lunch.
- Deep Sea Fishing - Experience deep sea fishing in Baja California! Daily trips to Todos Santos Island, Punta Banda and San Miguel Reef are provided for seasonal catching of yellowtail, barracuda, halibut, whitefish, white seabass, calico bass, ling cod, bonito and rock cod. Prices are: $60 USD per person and includes all necessary gear, bait and tackle as well as transportation to and from Hotel.
- Whale Watching - Season begins late December and ends early April. This is a four hour guided tour to Todos Santos Island that features professional narration in regards to the migration of the whales as well as information concerning the natural wildlife of the region. Prices are: $25 for adults and $19.50 for children under 12 years old. Departure is at 10 AM every morning.
- Horseback Riding - Enjoy a beautiful ride along the beach adjacent to our resort for only $20 per person, per hour.
- Kayaking at Estero Beach - Kayak in the Estero Beach Resort lagoon. Prices are: $20 USD per hour for a Single and $25 USD per hour for a Double.
- Jet Skiing at Estero Beach - Experience the thrill of Jet Skiing in Baja California! Jet Skis are available for rent April 1 through September 30 at the Private Beach located within the resort and by appointment with a two hour minimum for the rest of the year. Prices are: $35 USD for ½ hour or $60 USD for a full hour.
- Estero Beach Museum - Experience the History and Wonder of Mexico, the life of the city of Ensenada since its inception, and the beauty of the Ocean! Here at Estero Beach we have a museum that contains Indian Artifacts of the ancient indigenous tribes of Mexico, such as the Olmecs, the Aztecs and the Mayans, a pictorial history of Ensenada as well as flora and fauna fossils of the ocean, not to mention ancient fossils found in Baja California. Experience a rich tradition of Mexican Culture and History and the wonder and beauty that Mexico has to offer!
- Massages at Estero Beach - Enjoy a wonderful massage either in your room or poolside. Prices are $40/½ hr or $65/1 hr, with your choice of a Deep Tissue massage, a Relaxing massage, a Facial massage, or a Rejuvenating massage. Hot Stone Massages are also available with appointment for $90/hr.
- Pedicures and Manicures at Estero Beach - Enjoy being pampered while you relax by having a pedicure and manicure. Prices are: $25 each or both for $40
- Facials at Estero Beach - Experience an invigorating facial while you relax by the pool or in your room! Price is: $25 USD per person.
- Riviera of the Pacific Cultural Center - Built in the 1930’s, this former plush gambling casino allegedly was financed by Al Capone and managed by Jack Dempsey. It once hosted famous Hollywood personalities like Johnny Weismuller, Myrna Loy, Lana Turner, Ali Khan and Dolores del Rio. We suggest you wonder through the beautiful gardens, landscaped with fountains, statuary and monuments detailing the history of Baja California, tour the elegant cathedral ballroom and casino salon, view an exhibit at the galleria de la cuidad, and sip a cool drink in the Andaluz Bar while admiring the original mural painted by Alfredo Ramos Martinez. Families with small children may choose to visit the children’s playground also on the premises.
- Golfing - A challenging round awaits you in a quiet canyon surrounded by mountains where you can enjoy a gentle pacific breeze and clean air away from the roads and city noises. Only a few minutes from downtown and the beautiful beaches, Baja Country Club has the most challenging Golf Course in Baja with 250 lush, green acres, 12 acres of lakes, island green, double green, desert holes and much more! Prices are: $46.75 USD for 18 holes and $35.75 for 9 holes. However, as a guest of Estero Beach Hotel, should you choose to go golfing while on your visit, we will give you a coupon for $12 off for each member of your golfing party. - Seafood & Fish Market - Wander through the Seafood and Fish Market located at the Marina in Downtown Ensenada and sample the Smoked Marlin while shopping for your purchase!
- Shopping - Enjoy fabulous shopping in Downtown Ensenada. See the city and sample the wares that Mexico has to offer for your delight and pleasure – everything from the traditional Mexican Sombrero to the unique hand-twisted metal lizard art pieces.
